June Newsletter

And then it was June….  It’s sure been a busy spring. We’ve already been planning for Christmas if you can believe it and very excited about the fabrics that have started to arrive.

This month the Row by Row starts! June 21-September 6th. rowbyrow16The theme for this year is Home Sweet Home.  What’s Row by Row? It’s like a shop hop, but it’s not… no fees, no cards to stamp, and you have all summer to collect rows from stores! Simply visit our shop and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine our row with other shops in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows!

Create a quilt using at least 8 different 2016 rows from 8 different 2016 participating RxR shops and be the first to bring it to our shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!).

Upcoming Block of the Months

We are so excited about these BOM’s!!! For two very different reasons.

FullSizeRender-2Starting in January we will be doing the Amish With A Twist III by Nancy Rink.  It is a 10 month BOM that appeals to us for many reasons.  We love the modern twist of using bold solid cottons.  Yet it has the traditional blocks and piecing. Although it is hard from the picture to see, the background is navy- another fun feature. The finished size is 98″ x 107″.  We are working on the final price but if you’re interested please get your name on the list today, as this will be limited.

February BOM is for batik lovers and we can’t tell you how excited we are about thisFullSizeRender-3 breathtaking quilt. The River Rock quilt is a 9 month BOM that is constructed using 10″ squares. The finished size is 77 ½” x 85″.  Again, space is limited for this BOM too. We will have prices soon, so if interested please call and get your name on the list.
